Leila was the calm in the room. She knew when to speak and when to simply be there, and my partner felt part of it all rather than pushed to the side.

Common questions
Things families ask first
What is a doula?
A trained support person who offers emotional, practical and informational support during pregnancy, birth and the weeks after. I don’t provide medical care; I work alongside your midwife.
When should I book?
Most families book in the second trimester once they know they’d like extra support, but do get in touch at any stage, including after the birth.
Can we work together online?
Yes. Antenatal sessions, feeding support and relaxation sessions all work well over a video call.
How is a doula different from a midwife?
Midwives provide clinical care. A doula offers continuous emotional and practical support, focused on your wellbeing, comfort and experience.
Do you support partners too?
Absolutely. Helping partners feel confident, informed and included is a big part of what I do.
Is the first call really free?
Yes. Thirty minutes, no obligation, so we can both see whether it feels like the right fit.
